Combo Review: Not Even Bones & Only Ashes Remain

So I was chilling on Webtoons (I am sad and cringy I know) when this new series popped up on my recommended: Not Even Bones. I started reading, and immediately I was hooked. Even better, it was based on a book! Unable to wait another week, I checked out the ebook at my local library and became even more hooked. How has this series been hidden from me for so long?!

Ziggy, Stardust and Me

This book blew my mind completely. Things I loved: Ziggy, Stardust and Me is a coming of age tale about a gay kid undergoing conversion therapy in the 1970s. It follows Jonathon as he meets a Native American boy his age, and they become closer and closer. They both end up falling in love, but society, fathers, and Jonathon's internal struggle put a strain on everything. It's not a romance story, but one of self acceptance and love.

Legacy + Meeting Shannon Messenger (MMGM)

I think this is my sixth review of a book from this series? I first started the series wayyy back in 2014, and boy has so much changed. The story, character, and tone from the first couple books have changed drastically and the fan base has grown so large! The first time I met Shannon, I was the only one in line to sign with her and we were able to talk for like ten to twenty minutes!
